KONSTRUKTA – Defence, a.s. in the ceremonial handover of ZUZANA 2 Howitzers to the Slovak Armed Forces

On July 22, 2021, in the premises of the mechanized battalion in Martin, the Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic Jaroslav Naď handed over the first eight 155 mm 52 cal. Self-propelled Gun Howitzers ZUZANA 2 to troops of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic.
The management of DMD GROUP a.s. and KONŠTRUKTA- Defence, a.s. as well as representatives of other companies, institutions, and invited guests took part in the handover ceremony.
The implementation of the project continues in parallel with a high degree of work under progress so that in gradual stages of supplies the final quantity of 25 units of ZUZANA 2 Artillery Systems are delivered by the end of 2022.
It is believed the new combat technology will meet the high expectations of the Ministry of Defense related to its deployment in the fulfillment of challenging tasks in ensuring the defense of the Slovak Republic as well as the mission-fulfillment in international NATO and EU operations.
