In the period of September 4 and 5, 2021, the Slovak International Air Fest SIAF 2021 took place at the Kuchyňa Airport in Malacky, which was also financially supported by our joint-stock company.
The 10th anniversary was organized under difficult pandemic conditions after a year of absence. Finally, the organizers managed to hold an air show for the public, which had the largest international participation in the EU. More than 35,000 spectators attended the event.
The SIAF organizing team prepared a varied program in which, among many others, representatives from the Czech Republic presented themselves on L-159 ALCA aircraft, the Austrian team The Flying Bulls on historic aircraft, as well as helicopters with pilot Felix Baumgartner. The Slovak classics included performances by Očovskí Bačovia, UH-60M, L-29 Delfín and C-27 Spartan. Traditionally, Zoltan Veres from Hungary and, of course, the phenomenal Frecce Tricolori performed their shows to the audience.
Dynamic and static demonstrations of aircraft were complemented by a program and presentation of ground equipment of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic.
