Fuze modernization was realized within the project BEKOZ “Safety contact fuze for artillery and mortar ammunition according to NATO standards”, which was solved by Konstrukta – Defense during the years 2001 – 2007.
The purpose of the project was to approximate the design requirements for artillery and mortar fuzes, which are in the use of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, to the requirements of the standardization document STANAG 4187, Edition 2.

MZ – 81M – is designed for firing of high-explosive mortar ammunition of the 120 mm caliber
MZ – 95M – is designed for firing of high-explosive mortar ammunition of the98 and 81 mmcalibers
KTZ – is designed for tank ammunition with armour piercing shell of the 125 mm caliber
