THE SLOVAK AMBASSADOR TO FINLAND VISITED OUR COMPANY

Mrs. Slavomíra Mašurová, who is the Slovak ambassador to Finland, recently honored our company with her visit.

The ambassador was welcomed by the General Director of KONŠTRUKTA – Defence, Alexander Gurský, and the joint meeting was also attended by Jozef Zekucia, National Director for Armaments and Štefan Škultéty, General Director of DMD Group.

General Director Alexander Gurský introduced the company to the ambassador, including a visit to the Special Testing Facility Lieskovec and a demonstration of running production of artillery systems ZUZANA 2 .

Our company KONŠTRUKTA – Defence is the main Slovak contractor for 8×8 armored combat vehicles and a partner for the Finnish company PATRIA. In this project, we will cooperate on the production of 76 vehicles.

In connection with ongoing contract negotiations, whether at the G2G level or also between production companies, the ambassador promised cooperation and support from the Slovak embassy.

As part of the expansion of cooperation between Slovak and Finnish manufacturing companies, during the visit, the intention to prepare an Industry Day was mutually agreed upon, the purpose of which will be the opportunity for Slovak engineering companies to present their products and production capabilities to Finnish companies.
